I moved there in May and then fled right after Floyd riots started marching through my neighborhood. There’s nowhere as beautiful as the Pacific Northwest. It makes me so upset to think back to this summer. It was my lifelong dream to move there since I was little. I know exactly how the French must have felt during the Nazi occupation. I will return one day when it’s liberated.
