We need to go the other direction. To get on the voter list:
Proof of state residency such as a lease or mortgage and
Proof of citizenship
Then on voting day, a federal passport or state voter ID.
The vote should be on paper with scrutineers present. No vote marking or counting machines allowed. Marked ballots kept for 2 years and available for recount and inspection.
There could be exceptions -- like a homeless person that requests to get on the voters list and personally shows up to swear he is homeless, or absentee ballots requested in advance for legitimate reasons.
Looks like they are pulling out the stops. Can tell if it is because they think they can get away with it, or if they are trying to instigate a civil war, or both.
