I don't know how their legislature works, but they're probably going to need a vetoing overrule majority.

The mask mandates were never instituted via the legislature to begin with. Ergo, making the mask "mandates" unconstitutional in the first place.

All these State legislatures need to take the power that was given to them by the Constitution back from these tyrannical governors.

Exactly. Same in MN. Walz has no qualms about ruling by decree for the flu, but when it comes to BLM/ANTIFA (military wing of the DFL party) and actual emergencies, fails to use the power he has to control rioting, looting, and arson.

Deliberately stone WALZ to not bring in national guard, lets us all watch our police precinct torn apart and burned to the ground along with the rest of East lake street

We have been shouting at them for months to defend our constitutional rights, but these RINOs are so squishy they are terrified of our dottering old worthless illegitimate communist governor. They give the term pussy a bad name.

True but anybody arguing this is met with "but muh pandemic; this is different; UnPrEcEdEnTeD; People Are Dying™"

Evers, according to statute, could only issue emergency declarations for like 60 days. He's been doing this one for about a year.

No one was willing to try and stop him.

Ya, none of them have any balls to stop him before. Evers is a little weasel

Don't be fooled. It isn't as if they grew balls all of a sudden. They probably heard that Biden will go onto TV and announce that the pandemic is over.

This is from the start of the AP article I have in the comments here: "The Republican-controlled Wisconsin Senate voted Tuesday to repeal Gov. Tony Evers’ statewide mask mandate, despite warnings from virtually every sector of the health care community that doing so would impair efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

Both legislative chambers have to pass the resolution in order to undo the mask requirement. The Assembly, controlled 58-30 by Republicans, scheduled it for a vote Thursday."

If this is right, they just need to pass it

The same health care professionals who demand you stay safe, stay home, while they dance inches apart. Or like one of the local "I'm a hero, respect me stay safe, stay home" then posted on BookFace pictures of them at the beach, with maskless friends at dinner, etc.

How the fuck does Wisconsin have a republican supermajority but couldn't overturn their illegal and illegitimate election results?

The AP is not a creditable source for news. These claims made by the far left website AP have been proven false.

Wisconsin does not have a veto proof majority so it will be vetoed. But still, it sends a message. A message that should have been sent in June. The reasoning behind not doing it then was... you guessed it... they did not have a veto proof majority. But now since they all screwed the pooch on not doing ANYTHING about election fraud, they have to pretend to have conservative principles. I can't wait to move out of this crappy state.
