It is considered nice to invite the matchmaker to the wedding, although they might not go. It is considered nice to try to pay them, or buy them something. Some do it as a real job and tell you what they expect to be paid. Some do it just for the honor of service.

OKCupid I was on till April in covid. It's nothing but liberals and feminists. The few based attractive women you'll encounter that are into hunting and fishing and 2 parent households...unless you're someone who can compete in the upper echelon of the male hierarchy you're not getting one as a gf potentially spouse because they're matching with firefighters cops and wealthier guys.
I'm funny as fuck though so it works out.
Don't give up! I was dating a MLB pitcher when I met my husband (a delivery driver). He was cute, stable and fucking hilarious. We both grew up poor and worked hard together to get where we are today.
I can't deny it was really tough to have the car loan people calling me to collect a late payment as I'm seeing my ex sign a 7-figure trade deal in the news. But I don't regret my decision or the fun memories.

Wish we could go to bars. We still have all the Covid 25% indoor capacity restrictions (which most bars can't stay open for), and outdoors is a no-go until like April when it starts warming up.
