A chinese tour guide told me, all tour companies out of china were using all chinese own flights, transfers, restaurants, hotels, buses, guides, etc., tourists all used wechat app to pay local goods services, etc., all monies spent ended up back in china, the local country got maybe 10% service fee + big clean up bill.... not a good deal, thus corvid shutdown convenient for small tourist country... kept those chinese scam artists out....
