God knows they need it, and only He can do it, they're so corrupt and warped.

So many people don’t understand what Christianity is about. That includes many Christians. This guy gets it. Courage.

He can try, and I admire his faithful commitment to his religion. But not every Jew, Atheist/Agnostic, Buddhist, Sikh, Hindu, and so on should be constantly preached to.

As long as he doesn't turn it into some kind of Christian safe space then I have no real beef. But if he uses its newfound popularity to preach and try to convert people then I'm out.

No I'm good. I knew my opinion would probably be disliked but that's okay. I agree with this place on more important things. Nothing is perfect. And Torba and his rhetoric is 100x worth living with than Dorsey's.

I'm not a leftist who freaks out and jumps ship because one person on our side, and the people to, admire anguy who says quite innocuous things I don't agree with.

Have you met Jesus? Apparently not, and that’s okay. He answers calls from everybody, regardless.

The books are about Him, but they don’t seem real unless you’ve met. After that it all gradually becomes clearer.

Those books were written by men, so if you'll forgive me for not believing anything they say.

I understand. I didn’t want it to be true either. I was a Hindu. I devoted years of study to disproving it. I regularly mocked Christians and their “imaginary friend”.

Then I accepted a challenge from one of them. I tried directly addressing Him. Well, you can surmise the outcome.

May you know peace. Amen.

So you didn't like the Founders either, eh?

unclebobinator 1 point ago +3 / -2

Did you know many of the founders were atheists or agnostics? Even many who signed the declaration of independence. the founding fathers also believed in the freedom of religion.

I highly doubt they'd take offense to what I've said.
