Great time to short gamestop. And great time to buy gold and crypto.

No doubt. This has "short" all over it. No real analytics to defend such a rise.

It honestly has me thinking it was the plan of these hedge fund managers the whole time, just short the fuck out of Gamestop in the end when everyone forgets about this in the 5 minutes of attention span americans have at this point.

It is shorted over 100% of shares already.

The shorts will be due soon.

And its going to fall so far. This is a major money making opportunity for pedes who have brokerage accounts that allow shorting. My guess is that itll correct down to 100 or less. Probably to 50ish.

As far as I understand Hedge Fund managers were too greedy and shorted GME over 100%.

Share price was due to this (and general bad business models too) at USD 4.

So now people buy shares knowing that once the shorts are due, Hedge Fund managers WILL HAVE TO pay up whatever share price is. And if they don't sell...

This is not financial advice in any shape or form.

Crypto investors: "I like funding child trafficking and sex trafficking, as well as allowing drug cartels to use this platform to continue poisoning the planet. As long as I am not pUrChAsInG illicit activities."

Using the platform is the same as being complicit in illicit activities.

That's like saying using dollars is being complicit in illicit activities. LOL

Are there consequences for using cash for such activities in the US?

DeadOverRed 1 point ago +1 / -0

You didn't say "for such activities." You said "using it."

I mean, I'm pretty sure cartels and sex traffickers also take cash... do you not use cash?

If used in the US and get caught, not outside of US jurisdiction.

Wtf is the point? How is Gamestop gonna stay afloat? Are they able to? Do you see a future for Gamestop to continue investing? Or are you entering the arena for a quick and easy buck?
