Fuck that idea unless it's the absolute last resort AFTER all the unthinkables have failed. United states means united. Texas enjoys benefits by being part of that union.

On edit: Happened to drive across Texas in the last day and a half and came across the only part of Texas geography that holds any interest for me and isn't a big damn city. Kerrville. What a gem.
