Citron said Friday it would no longer comment on the GameStop stock because of β€œthe angry mob who owns this stock.” Citron Research editor Andrew Left wrote in a note to readers that the backlash had included criminal activity he planned to report to the Securities and Exchange Commission, which included harassment of minor children as well as financial crimes.

Oh, ok. What've we learned:

  • Mobs are effective.

  • Journalists are whiny "parting shot" cowards and babies.

Someone had mentioned this was the way to fight back, financially. Other hedge funds are going to get nuked. Of course they get bailed out. Hope GameStop stock goes to $500 a share(have no money involved).

Go opposite of the companies that are being shorted, again highly speculative. GameStop has a ton of retail money riding on it, the only question would be if r/wallstreetbets is directing market action against some of the other short positions.

The folks punishing the shorts are retail investors on r/wallstreetbets

It would be highly speculative to follow suite
