Today, State Representative Kyle Biedermann’s legislation that would give the people of Texas a chance to vote on Texas becoming an independent, self-governing nation became official.

The “Texas Independence Referendum Act” would give Texans an opportunity to head to the polls in November of 2021 and start the process of reasserting our status as an independent nation. If the people vote in favor, the bill provides for the establishment of a committee to begin working on a transitional plan which would address all of the issues related to decoupling from the federal government.

This bill is simply to put the question to the people of Texas. Even if legislators don’t personally support TEXIT, at a minimum they should support your right to publicly debate and vote on the issue. Your representatives either believe that you are smart and responsible enough to make this decision or they believe that they know what’s best for you regardless of what you think. There is no middle ground.

We need you to call your State Representative and let them know that you are a constituent and you expect them to sign on to HB 1359 as a co-author. Let them know that this will be a voting issue for you in the 2022 election.

If you don’t know your State Representative you can map your legislative district at this link.

I want Texas to stay.

This is not the time to run.... this is the time to fight.

I don't see it as we are running away from anything . I see it as an opportunity to become a POWERHOUSE country.......Texas alone gives the federal government between 105 - 160 Billion dollars a year in taxes...why can't that stay in Texas and get used correctly? you do know that elections at the federal level are a lost cause for at least the next 10 - 20 years....you want to put up with their ternary for the next 12 decades?.....not me my friend

Even if Texit was successful, Texas and Texans would still fight. This is more like making a statement and letting Washington DC know that states have rights and are not completely beholden to the Federal government. Kind of like what California does with all of its sanctuary cities.

We need your electoral college votes....

But I can see a point - in the not too distant future - if the DEMS BLOCK Voter ID - and the Fraud processes of the Steal of 2020 are formally 'codified'...

Then I would indeed move to Texas - as would many many others... and perhaps we could get the Prairie and Mountain states to join... and simply start anew.
