We need to establish standards for election software.
It must be open-source.
There is no way in hell that vote-counting software should be handled in percentages.
There should never be aliquots of negative votes for any candidate.
That software should be as simple as accounting software.
Tabulating machines should not be connectable to the Internet.
Blockchain might be used to secure voter identity, in a separate system
Ancillary issues to the software:
Any counting that takes place without supervision by all of the interested parties is unacceptable. Numbers submitted where some of the interested parties have been kept from supervising, or thrown out, should be summarily subtracted from the totals.
I bet it's a "standard" contract and that EVERY municipality that has a Dominion machine signs the same (or similar) contract. Very troublling.
