Just to be clear Texas does not use Dominion. We rejected those machines several years ago due to fraud concerns.
That doesn't mean we don't have our share of issues: https://thenewamerican.com/aiding-election-tampering/
Still better than using Dominion, though. But many counties don't know better and get sold something (by e.g. Hart Intercivic) they're told complies with state law when, really, they don't, and the penalties for perpetuating these falsehoods is just the cost of doing business or less.
