Taking bets on how long /r/WallStreetBets gets to live on Reddit?

Were talking about BILLIONS lost from Melvin Inc. There is going to be massive pressure to prevent this from happening again.

i recommend them starting to develop c/wallstreetbets .win as backup if they haven't already started.

In short (no pun intended)

  1. Find a company that is failing (Gamestop $4 per share), AND a scumbag hedge fund has shorted it (Melvin Inc).
  2. Promote the fuck out of that stock near to the "promise to rebuy" date.
  3. Shorting hedge funds have to pay back ($157 per share) Melvin's Hedge fund money transferred to private investors. GameStop becomes the most traded share in the world.

I'd love to see this get recycled and repeated, but I'm sure there'll be 'reform' to prevent it from ever happening again.

Thing is, there is absolutely nothing legally, morally, or ethically wrong about any of this.

This is how markets work. Don't like it, then go produce a good or service people will give you money for instead of being a middle man of a middle man whose already somebody else's middle man.

i'm hoping a lot of congress people are limited partners in these hedge funds and that they will soon be rekt when the hedges fold

How did they know Melvin shorted it? That's what I'm curious about.

I think in this case Melvin were well known for repeatedly shorting GameStop, but im not sure how much actual information (dates, amounts etc) they have.

Shorting is gambling. Don't gamble if you can't take the loss.

Losing literally BILLIONS OF DOLLARS, each day this week, on one single bet.

Someone needs to reach out to the mod team on the subreddit to see if they want to move a. win community.

Based_in_Space 2 points ago +2 / -0

i hope they are setting one up as a backup ready-to-go. I bet some of the WSB mods are one here as well as it seems lots of WSB are based and love memes.

I wonder if any hedge funds are managed by major swamp donors...
