I was at the Grand Canyon on my 16th birthday in July and there was 2 inches of snow on the ground...

I'm 42 now.

Rim of canyon is 7,000 to 8,000 feet altitude. snows every winter. north rim is closed each year Oct 15 to May 15 b/c of snow.
