Hello frens and patriots. I am a man of God, but not so much the church. Unfortunately, this makes it difficult if I am need of prayers. Thankfully I know patriots.win is full of brother/sisters in Christ. I would selfishly ask if you could pray for me pedes. I am having some potential/perceived heart issues, which is fueling some mental health issues, which is creating a cycle of perceived further heart issues sending me down a cycle of feeling hopeless. I am not in a great place.

Don't worry, I don't feel like giving up or anything, but I acknowledge that I am currently powerless against this. I know logically that there is always hope though, so I ask if a few pedes wouldn't mind digitally gathering in here in Jesus name to send a prayer on my behalf. I don't like asking for self prayers, but I believe God is the only way to overcome this.

I don't fear for myself so much, but rather for those that rely on me to be strong and perform. When this stuff hits me I am useless, and it takes me out for a bit. I need to be functional for those I love and care for (Friends/Family/Employees). I am hoping this makes it less selfish.

VA has not been so helpful, but God has been!

Thanks you frens, God bless!

If you're feeling down try sunflower seeds. They really are mood altering for me. Get some sunshine when you can, and stay active.

You'll get to where you want to be eventually. And the contrast of the bad times makes the good times all that much better when you get there.

I'll give it a shot, thanks for the advice. I am a healthy dude, and decently active (not as much lately because of narrative driven pandemics). Need to try something though. Thanks fren!

Seems like a lot of people are suffering heart issues this year...I myself had an accident that disabled me and left me with POTs...

Steven Crowder has some heart condition now , too. Not sure if he elaborated as to what the diagnosis is.

Do you know what issues you are experiencing?

Prayers incoming my friend.

Prayers back at you for your POT's fren! I am active, but my blood pressure keeps climbing and I get bouts of shortness of breath. I have also been walloped with GERD. I admittedly suffer from Panic Attacks that started during my time in the military. I've gone in for my heart a few times over the years and they always just attribute it to anxiety and GERD (which is probably the case) as nothing shows on the EKG, it's just been worsening and sometimes it take me out. The doctor finally showed concern yesterday at my BP and noticed PVCs when listening to my heart. He said it's benign, but wants to follow up. I don't drink often, don't smoke, eat healthy, limit caffeine and am athletic. I am not even middle aged, and am already in hypertension stages fueled most likely by extreme anxiety issues I can't shake.

I wish I could be like my old school dad who went through all this shit, but acted like it was NBD. Tough SOB. I know God can grant me victory though, and if not I must always try and remember the thorn in Paul's side and accept there is reason.

A few observations. One, thank you for your prayers. Two, my POTs started after a pretty severe concussion / head injury that I took last May. However, I also was forced to take a Tdap vax at the ER pretty much against my protestation to the contrary. Then all the symptoms developed over the course of 7-14 days. So, I am convinced that it is autoimmune. I am damaged, likely, for life. Its very disabling for me. It affects my mood terribly. I have kind of this constant PTSD like underlying anxiety and my body is always producing too much adrenaline. It's awful. So, I feel your pain.

I am on propranolol, which is a beta blocker. 20mg 3x a day. I notice it helps slightly with anxiety and also keeps my tachycardia manageable.

I dont know the details as to what meds youre on and I'm not a doctor.

What I can recommene however, for arrythmias and just general heart health, is something called the Awesome Foursome by cardiologist Dr. Sinatra.

Essentially it's,

  1. CoQ-10
  2. Magnesium
  3. D-Ribose
  4. L-Carnitine

And a standard multivitamin.

The brands and doses are important. I could give you more info via DM. Wouldnt hurt at all to try it for a month. But OK it w/ your cardiologist first. Im sure he will say its not gonna work...but you never know until you try!

2
Sun_Tzu [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thanks! I will look into it. I know the beta-blockers can help with the anxiety of it. Magnesium has also been recommended to me in the past. You issues sound more severe, so I really hope and pray you can get through. I 100% feel you on the adrenaline. I used to be a junkie (skydiving, rock climbing, etc...) then one day the thrill of mass adrenaline coursing through me turned into a curse.... Always here if you need to vent. It sucks venting to our loved ones sometimes who don't understand (even if they try too).

I'm also having something like this. For immediate relief I have found that getting the magnesium From an epsom salt bath is helpful. I find I no longer absorb it through the digestive tract, something I believe is related to the GERD. I also use magnesium oil when I can't get to the bath. 1cup of epsom salts for every 60 lbs of bodyweight in a HOT bath for one hour. Your heart relies on magnesium to relax. And there's not a lot in our diet anymore. spez: Let me know if you find anything helpful, please. spez 2. Also try sublingual vitamin B-12. Turns out I have lost the ability to get that from food, also. And when that was corrected I had improvement.

2
Sun_Tzu [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's super interesting!!! I will try the epsom salt tonight. I know magnesium is supposed to be helpful. Can deficiency be tested? I wonder if I have something similar occuring.

2
NvCrone 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think they test but the test is not reliable. Check me. And do try the B-12 under the tongue. It will help your energy/attitude.

2
Neonentity 2 points ago +2 / -0

+1, especially on magnesium

Do not neglect zinc, but overdoing it will cause a copper deficiency as they compete to absorb. Copper deficiency will cause all sorts of nastiness from weakness to vision loss and premature greying . This appears to be a common problem in the age of wuflu, so adding a tiny bit of copper and taking zinc separately is a good idea..

A suggestion; consider acupuncture, Reiki healing and charka balancing. Trauma, especially military related trauma really devastates the nervous system. Holding in pain, dark memories especially of traumatic events creates havoc with your energy.

Try them with an open mind, if you have Medicare or Medicaid acupuncture is covered and charka balancing is not expensive.

If you can find someone who does Reiki, especially a Reiki master definitely see them, dark energy is real and they can remove it from you. Can be the difference between night and day :)

Hey fren, may I'll assume I can offer you some support this way too: Mathew chapter 6 is it.

Remember to doubt your thoughts, observe them, don't engage them. Emotions too. If you do the silent prayer Jesus talks about in Mathew chapter 6, and your mind starts racing, doubt every thought. God bless you pede!

Serious prayers for you.

I want to let you know that high or low BP definitely has it's own effects on mental health and will make you experience anxiety or anger which are not fully in your control. It's physiological anxiety. It helps a lot if you're able to recognize it for the physical feeling that it is, rather than assuming it's your mind going wonky.

My husband is also having high BP and, what I believe, are heart issues. He actually just got out of his ECG (ECHOcardiogram - not to be confused with ELECTROcardiogram: EKG) a few moments ago.

His father has a genetic heart condition that we didn't find out about until he was 65, and required immediate surgery. Turns out it's really common to pass on to your kids. (20% chance or something like that)

My husband has had past issues, and EKG's haven't shown anything. Upon investigation it seems that ECG is the only test that will show the issue, if indeed there is one to be found.

I don't know what you've had for tests, but perhaps asking for an echocardiogram where they ultrasound the heart might help get answers.

2
Sun_Tzu [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thank you so much. This so similar to what's been happening with me. Seems to get worse every year, my EKG never finds anything odd. This was the first time they detected the PVC during an exam though so I think something else may be triggering it. I live a healthy life style already, but am going to go even healthier in hopes it helps contain it. I do think you are right though. The Anxiety and BP do always go hand it hand, but I don't know which is the cause and which is the symptom. Praying for him, hoping for good result!

2
niacin 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thanks so much for your prayers as well.

I promise you, if your BP is spiking you will definitely feel anxiety and it is mostly physical. When all this first started happening regularly it really affected my marriage. We didn't understand what was happening to him. We got an at home BP tester and noticed it most often happened when his BP was spiked. Once we recognized that, it was easier to cope, as well as work to counter act it. He'll take a shower to help calm down, play guitar or with the cat or go for a walk.

He lives a fairly healthy lifestyle, goes for hikes often ect. We don't drink a whole lot, mostly socially, if at all. We eat relatively healthy (always room for improvement). To me, he's not the typical 37yr old hypertension patient.

So, there's something called a Bicuspid Aortic Valve, this is the condition my father-in-law has and we suspect might be the problem for hubby. It's hereditary, often goes un-diagnosed for most patients until later in life when the heart gets worn down, and also affects approximately 2% of the population.

An Echocardiogram will look at the structure of the heart, an EKG looks at the electrical impulse of the heart. If there is a problem with the structure, not the impulse, it won't show up in an EKG.

As for my hubby, the technician said that one valve sounded strange vs the other, but it may not mean anything (they take snapshots and the doc looks at it later for interpretation). For now it's speculation and we're looking forward to hearing the proper assessment.

Sun_Tzu [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thanks for the clarification. I follow up in 2 weeks, maybe I’ll ask if I can get a echocardiogram. My chest is honestly sore today, and I keep getting bouts of soreness after episodes. I think I’ve downplayed it assuming it was anxiety, but maybe I it something I should look at. Thanks fren!!!

What sort of heart issues if I may ask? I'll pray for you

A family member was having heart issues caused by Wheat of all things. Kicked it from her diet and the heart issues went away quickly.

Sun_Tzu [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm young and in shape, but showing PVCs and hypertension. I think it's fueled by some mental issues and GERD that started during my time in in military, which gives me shortness of breathe and overblasts of adrenaline (not the good kind). The problem is that it's like a cycle and everything feeds off each other until it drains me. I do believe I need to pinpoint dietary triggers. I have pinpointed a few already (to much red meat, certain breads, certain dairy and any caffeine). Thank you for the prayers!

2
digitalher0 2 points ago +2 / -0

Do you engage in any spiritual warfare? Could be you have been cursed or someone is summoning demons on you to destroy you. It's possible you could have a charged object in your possession causing these issues too.

Not many people out there teach on spiritual warfare but since you mentioned the issue being cyclical, and I've experienced something similar, which was spiritual in nature.

1
Sun_Tzu [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't, but I am do believe these ailments are often spiritually caused in nature. This Bible often shows this as the case. All I know how to do is pray and hope that God will help, no matter what the cause of the ailment is. I do believe much of this was meant to humble me as well (which it certainly has).

1
digitalher0 1 point ago +1 / -0

Friend as a Christian it is your duty to do warfare for yourself. Check out Ephesians 6 for the Armor of God act out putting it on daily in your mind. We also have authority to bind and loose spirits. When you are under attack you can quote some scripture outloud, James 2:19, Luke 10:17-20, 1 John 3:8 and say demons attacking me I bind you up and command you to leave in Jesus name.

The demon/s has to obey you. Jesus has given us this power and we must use it as the enemy walks about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Whatever is attacking you spiritually will not stop until you yourself make it stop. If you have any questions feel free to ask. There are good resources which teal how to conduct spiritual warfare.

Twenty Our Fathers coming your way this evening!

Just a suggestion: Later today go for long slow walk, breathe deep, listen to the trees, birds, watch the squirrels, keep your mind blank, watch the sun sink low. Head home, take a long hot shower, put on fresh pajamas, make some coco, no tv, no media, get to bed early.

Nothing is ever as bad as it seems and if you go by to a health food store, pick up some vitamins, supplements, maybe some herbal teas, take care of yourself :)

Hi Fren, Not Selfish at all !!! To ask is to show bravery and open yourself to your fellow brother and sisters of Christ. You have my prayers and open invitation to message a DM if you ever wish. I am deep in the heart of Commiefornia, I used to work right in its center before a surgery which took me from my job. This happened just a bit before the China Virus, and between the CA unemployment/disabilityand my job all leaving my family with unsatisfactory answers and my inability to speak easily for myself I really felt alone and looked for God to help me while stuck in the VA system. I'm still in recovery, but I God has helped me over the last 2 years even though it has been difficult. Take heart, you are not alone, as a Fren, nor as God's Child. He sees you, he hears you. This community is also a very loving one, I am certain you know that know.

1
Sun_Tzu [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thank you so much! this is very comforting. God is amazing. I am praying for you as well fren. I too am stuck in the VA system. I finally was getting the care I needed, then they just cancelled my provider and never called me back. I literally had a tele-appointment scheduled last week to get a new provider...crickets no call. Very frustrating.

1
Pede_ingtonBear 1 point ago +1 / -0

Never worry about reaching out, when you do, whether its privately or in public forum style, know it to yourself, there are others who are reading and are also quietly suffering and don;t have your bravery to reach out and even type things.. you givw them that bravery. I am serious man. As for your prayer for me, I truely appreciate them back Sun. I need them to be strong for my wife and kids, I no longer have the physical abilities I had, but keep hope I can get back as close as possible, if its God's will and my determination is strong enough. The VA is hard enough to deal with even pre China Virus, now its extra difficult. There is the possibilty of choosing civilian care if you want, its a little messy, but you do have that right if you want and the VA will provide it. You'll have to ask youre VA medical center local to you becasue I think its slightly different from area to area, but basically we all have the ability to choose now. Especially if the appointments are too far out. A third party place is put to help schedule everything.

2
DeplorableDee47 2 points ago +2 / -0

Asking for prayer is never selfish. Thinking you can go it alone without God is selfish. God is in complete control. Ask Him what lesson He is trying to teach you right now and ask to be shown the direction to go. I hope you can get some answers soon about your health issues. Thank you for your service fren and consider yourself lifted up in prayer.

Yeah, the VA wants you dead brother. If you are healed that means you can get sick again and decrease their profits. That being said, the fuck into church man!!! When you’re there you’re going to find people that actually want to help you. We are called to carry each other’s burdens as church members, and you know, you ARE THE CHURCH. And, You NEED community. Follow good role models even though you might be “older”. Pray EVERYDAY!!! Post on here for prayers everyday. I like the acronym ACTS when I pray. Adoration of God, then Confess(it’s VERY important to confess your deepest “darkest” sins to him(he not only commands it, but it helps a LOT!!! ... start with those super shit ones you believe you’ve committed against him. He also commands us to confess our sins to one another.. that you ca do later, but it’s VERY important, and would be, it seems, another sin if you don’t... it also is REALLY REALLY FUCKING GREAT to do!!! You can’t live a Christian life carrying around all the BS yourself brother. You can message me any time you feel like you need to get something off your chest, and it’s even better to find someone who wants your success in your near circle of influence.. the church is a great place for this. So REPENT my brother and get the crap to church!! Confess that shit, ask for prayers. DO IT!!! Your pastor will love you even without a financial commitment.. once you have your shit together, you should do that too, but I digress. It helps with planning your future if nothing else, and YOU HAVE A GREAT FUTURE BRO! I know it. It is reality. THIS is truth. ... Alright, and again, do this every morning.. keep confessing, you’re a saint that sins, we get it, he gets it, so keep confessing on the reg. He commands it. Ok, now for T, T is thanksgiving, Thank him for all the shit you love AND for all the shit you hate about your life. It is a gift. I know, even these Pedo cock sucks at the top, they’re sin in the world living as such, (pray for the worst ones as well btw), so expect it. We live in a fallen world, “Thank you Lord for showing us evil so we can more easily see your beauty and awesome power. Also Lord, I pray for Nancy Pelosi that she will come to see the truth and repent of her evil ways. Lord, I pray for Xi Jinping for the same reason, that he will right his wrongs and come to know you. Thank you Lord. ... And again, for all the good stuff too of course. NOW, even secular people see the power of gratitude/thanksgiving and they have found that if you do not have a REGULAR & ‘disciplined’ practice of it you WILL NOT have joy to any significant degree in your life. If you’re hopeless, this will help you see the light that the Lord IS shining in your life. Aaaand finally, S is for supplication. Ask him for what you’d like in your life. Shit, he already knows what you want, you’re more or less admitting to him what HE ALREADY KNOWS, but he still wants us to do it, so, frikkin do it. Here’s the deal Pede, you want prayer for your life, most of it, you can do yourself. You’re going to get through this. You’re going to rely on God and he is going to deliver you from this darkness you find yourself in. You must turn to him, you must have faith. He will bring you joy, and many more positives in your life when you start practicing healthy practices. So get your shit into church, pray every day, focus and rely on him. Much love, we’ll be praying for you. All the best, Pede Bro

Full disclosure, we’re all feeling down, so am I and this has what has helped me more than anything. Only get help from believers, the ba’al and devil worshipers see you as their enemy. They CAN’T help you.. your soul.. even if they wanted.
