Fuck Kerry lolz... not only will he be destroying pipeline jobs, he doesn’t plan on any solar panels to be manufactured in the USA. They’ll come from China, so the displaced jobs will never be replaced with anything at all.

Obama's plan was to turn the US into a slave country. It's going to be all about MBAs calling people on the phone in China to order crap while the rest of the country lives through begging for welfare.

This is what I keep telling my liberal parent in laws but they just don't get it.

No doubt we are moving to a clean energy planet and oil will be a thing of the past someday. BUT YOU FUCKING IDIOTS, THE TECHNOLOGY ISN'T READY YET.

All they are doing is hurting the middle class trying to push technology that won't be ready for another 50 years.

As the tech slowly gets better, the economy will gradually and naturally shift. That's the way capitalism works.

Libertynfreedom4ever 14 points ago +14 / -0

And they’re STILL using oil. They will transport it on water buffets trains!

mintscape 11 points ago +11 / -0

Michael Moore (yeah the fat far leftist) was part of a documentary that exposed the green fraud, it is called "Planet of the Humans" and it is on YouTube, it really is a must watch.

I promise you will like it and it is something you can send to you liberal parents, the fact Michael Moore was part of it will mean they can't call it right wing propaganda either. I think the main guy presenting it was a founder of Greenpeace as well.

All this green stuff pushed by the Biden regime is just another corrupt grift, they are not stopping oil, they just have donors that don't profit from KeyStone XL.

So you want Tar to bubble up from the ground everywhere? Why would it go away? Why does everyone just accept that methane is common in geologically active planets and moons, but geology doesn’t make methane or it’s relatives on earth?

Can’t you just microwave it?

That’s an issue today. Your points on capitalism. They’re not truly understood or respected.

When you press a button and food kernel comes to you- you learn to press buttons instead of hunting/gathering.

Are the in laws working in a unionized industry?

The fact that electric cars are hot sellers now, but were relatively rare as little as 5 years ago, is this truth in motion.

They don’t even pretend to care either.

If I took a guess there are no us made solar panels lmao

Yeah, there are some good ones from a company in Texas but of course they cost a lot more than the ones made in China.

However, remember Solyndra? Obama threw massive cash at them and they failed, then there was this:

https://freebeacon.com/latest-news/trump-admin-recovers-200-million-from-obama-era-solar-boondoggle/

Another Obama solar grift that Trump got some money back from.

Solar panels are a waste of time. They will never produce enough energy. If these people were serious, they would advocate nuclear energy. It is the only thing that has a chance of producing enough energy to put a dent in oil, gas and coal. Everything else is just dreaming.

2
Steven_IDGAF_Miller 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thorium reactors could supply the entire worlds energy needs for something like a thousand years w/ practically zero waste and it could actually 'burn' up the nuclear waste we currently have sitting around. The 'waste' that they do produce actually has useful alternative uses in medicine, space exploration, etc.

Search "Thorium LFTR" for a glimpse at the true 'green' energy solution.

Solar gets cheaper every year and it's absolutely viable that they're a key part of limitless, renewable energy in the future.

I do agree on nuclear though, everyone's scared of it but it truly is the future.

2
Drinkup4 2 points ago +2 / -0

Price is a problem with solar, but not the biggest problem. The bigger problem is it simple doesn't produce enough energy to have a major impact.

13
covfefe-time 13 points ago +13 / -0

Yes, let's depend on our enemies for raw materials that provide unreliable, expensive, environmentally hazardous, wasteful, and easily disrupted means of energy production for our country, that can be easily hacked whence the CCP controls many aspects of our energy grid.

WHAT COULD GO WRONG???!!!!!

TexasPiper 12 points ago +12 / -0

What’s funny is a lot of industries don’t want to hire you if you have oil and gas experience. Know why? Because when it booms back everyone quits to go get the good money.

Fuck John Kerry and these mother fuckers

9
DeadOverRed 9 points ago +9 / -0

I'm sure he'll pay you your salary plus tuition for a five to eight years while you go get engineering degrees and learn to apply them in that field, right?

8
Gmama2 8 points ago +8 / -0

The hate Americans.

There will be lots of money to launder with green initiatives, and oil and gas from dirty producers like China and Russia will replace American oil and gas. Oil will be transported on petroleum guzzling trucks.

Kerry, Biden, Pelosi and Romny all have sons involved in oil/gas in Ukraine, China, etc. Prices go up and they make more money.

7
Ironh19 7 points ago +7 / -0

these fucking people are so far in the bubble up the ass they don't know anything going on with the American people.

3
TwistedSister 3 points ago +5 / -2

I do have to wonder, though, how many oil and gas pipeline workers worked to get out the vote?

3
Libertynfreedom4ever 3 points ago +3 / -0

But Biden said, “anyone who can shovel coal can learn to code!” I’m so sorry about your job. They suck

Why do all these cucks have such punchable faces? Kerry, Fauci, Gates. Fucking scumbags.

2
Food4thought 2 points ago +2 / -0

Solar power is inextricable linked to natural gas. The sun doesn't shine all day - and NG power plants have the best systems to fluctuate to meet demand.

2
BlackLivesMurder 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ain't no demand if yo dead

1
dykstra89 1 point ago +1 / -0

nah, they understand

1
TAIWANNUMBERONE 1 point ago +1 / -0

As far as I'm aware the solar panel industry is also heavily regulated, so you'd need to take it up the ass by feds before you even got a chance to start.

Is that what you say if you get fired from your job?

Or do you not have one and just accept your welfare check?

Probably the latter.

Let me help you out you faggot. When you spend YEARS in an industry, it's hard to pick up another industry/skill/degree. It costs MONEY. And TIME. But, you need money coming in to continue to live. You can't just draw on welfare like you do. Who's going to pay for the training/education? Who's going to keep them in the same condition they were used to being in? Huh?

Have you ever been laid off from a job before? Have you ever had a REAL job?

Please kill yourself.

The original comment has been deleted at this point but just pointing out that situations like the one you're describing are explicitly why those social service programs exist. So yes, you can.
