Remember that if a secession of conservative states does occur, the new Union should call on red counties of blue states to join too. Just check out the rural areas of many blue states like IL, VA, OR, WA, and MN. We would virtually take half of OR and WA as well as the vast majority of MN. We could even take the northern part of CA and western CO. These parts are linked to other red regions as well so it could totally be done if they chose to join the Union.
