so true! I can remember being an idiotic teenager with a pretty dumb understanding of the world and Sowell was on some late-night interview show and I got it, I really got what he was saying and why he was saying it. The best ever.
He's an astounding individual and proof of the meritocracy that exists in America. His back story is so inspiring and the polar opposite of the one the democrats paint of oppressed black America, where an AA can't achieve without the kindly (sarc) hand of the gubmint.
