Rule of law exists so citizens know the laws and breaking them is a decision. This guy is facing 10 years in jail for posting a meme 5 years ago. They're charging him with "domestic extremism" or "conspiracy", two incredibly vague charges. The law can be what ever they want because of how vague it is. If you haven't deleted your social media accounts yet, you might want to. I don't know what the solution is, but this directly conflicts with everything I learned about rule of law in grad school, I'm actually looking for my old professor's email address to get her opinion on this stuff.
