Florida mostly has it's own power Grid. Most of the Eastern Interconnection is mostly Red States, so really the only issue with those states leaving would be Illinois, Viriginia, MAYBE Georgia. If the majority of those state secede though, Virignia, South Illinois and Georgia would be at the mercy of the Majority.

As much as I would prefer the Union stay together, and our country has the corruption weeded out, I can understand why people have secession on their minds. The Founding Fathers had their unaccountable (foreign) bureaucrats who overtaxed them and gave them no representation, and now so do we. The Revolution solved that problem for them, and some day soon we may have to make the same difficult choice.
