It's not a little victory, but it is small compared to what needs to happen. You're right though that it is absolutely a huge step.

My main point is that after a year of feeling downtrodden and powerless, people just got a taste of the power that is rightfully theirs. The power that they already hold, but have been convinced that they don't.

That's the real reason they are terrified. The few billion dollars that we just took back is peanuts in the grand scheme of things. What has them so afraid is that every additional day that this is allowed to continue more of us are getting a little taste of their blood. And we like it.
