I have a better idea. Why are we still respecting the state borders? Let's have ALL the states secede EXCEPT FOR THE MAJOR CITIES. Let the Left keep New York, LA, Chicago, Detroit, Milwaukee, and whichever others. Everything and everybody else will want to come with us. Then they can have a trade agreement with us to get the food and water they need.
