Yeah. I don’t wanna stand behind Texas. I want to stand beside Texas. A New American union that started in Texas and spread to Florida and up to West Virginia in the east. Reaching all the way up through Ok, Ks, Ia, Id, the dakotas, and Wisconsin would be an economic, food producing powerhouse.
I suspect that what eventually happens here is not a full split, but a split into 4 United States Territories. Territories powers would be powers removed from the federal govt. the national power structure looking like this: Fed, territory, state, county.
It would be great for a minute. Then the territories would become corrupt and we’d just have extra politicians to hang.
