Price/earnings ratio all of the traditional measures of performance have been tossed out. Mark to make believe has been embraced by all stocks/ housing anything that requires what is supposed to be a real appraisal. Bottom line the ruling class has decided financial assets, at least the ones they control only go up in value or turn a profit.

This is incredible the head of Lehman, of the worst offenders during the financial crisis of 2007/2008 was railing about punishing the “shorts”. Here we are 2021 Wall Street I love short selling now you can’t punish us.

Tech investing is not entirely about current reality. It heavily focuses on future potential as well.

Other parts of the market are (mostly) less focused on future potential than the tech market.
