My late father, a Korean war vet HATED this show....especially Klinger, didn't find it funny, and called him a faggot wig-man and refused to watch the show, saying it degraded the men who served and died.

I used to work at a TV station and he was on our morning show one time. His handlers told us he would walk off the set if anyone asked him about wearing dresses on MASH. This was probably 15 years after MASH had ended.
I only know that one thing. I work in accounting, I didn't even meet him. I just remember the producers of the show warning everyone not to ask him about dresses. I think he was sick of the question. But honestly he wasn't famous enough for anyone to know anything else about him. I'm sure his people sent a bio for them to work off of.
