At least he knew what he was doing was mental, that was the point after all.

RockyMin 24 points ago +24 / -0

Yeah, Klinger was faking it the whole time to try to get discharged from the army.

Awww...I was gonna say that!..🐸🇺🇸

x-irradiance 10 points ago +10 / -0

He definitely couldn’t use that tactic nowadays

AngeredKabar 17 points ago +17 / -0

The whole joke was that Klinger wasn't actually insane.

He just wanted to go home alive and was desperate enough to wear a dress.

HeavyVetting 4 points ago +4 / -0

There are still those people desperate enough to wear a dress but we're being told we have to take them seriously.

AngeredKabar 3 points ago +3 / -0

Trannies are only afraid of not being relevant.

All their problems are made up.

HeavyVetting 3 points ago +3 / -0

It's all in their heads, they often have other mental issues and they tell us we're not allowed to say so. As if feeding into their delusions is healthy.

Great show, but Alan Alda is too progressive for me.

DeplorableDC 5 points ago +5 / -0

Bro pretty much all if them are...

The_General_Patton 2 points ago +3 / -1

From the show or in general? Alda lost me when he did Horace & Pete.

5
DeplorableDC 5 points ago +5 / -0

Mostly talking about Loretta Switt and Mike Farrell.

7
The_General_Patton 7 points ago +8 / -1

I'll say this about Mike Farrell; the guy puts up, so he doesn't have to shut up. The dude feeds homeless people every week and serves them personally. He's been doing it for a long time. That's pretty honorable.

Who follows the teaches of Loretta Switt in 2021?

3
DeplorableDC 3 points ago +3 / -0

I don’t ‘follow’ any of them. Feeding the homeless is nice yes, but still a hollywood lib. I would note that at the time of MASH Alda would refer to Farell as the communist

Also not surprisingly Mike was against Trump.2016 urging electoral college to deny Trump the wind

Like who and what you want fren, I still like MASH to this day. I really didn’t think we would get this in depth about cast on a show that ended decades ago.🤷🏻‍♂️

5
The_General_Patton 5 points ago +6 / -1

Yeah, but he doesn't have a voice, really. Alda does... that's why I don't like him. I live in Los Angeles and have been down on my luck in the past. I was starving and someone told me about a place where they did a weekly feeding. Imagine my surprise when B.J. Hunnicut gave me a meal and a smile.

Bramage 2 points ago +2 / -0

alda RUINED MASH as he took control of it.

The_General_Patton 0 points ago +1 / -1

Yeah, he was the breakout star and women loved him, so they pandered to them. Women kind of ruin everything.

My late father, a Korean war vet HATED this show....especially Klinger, didn't find it funny, and called him a faggot wig-man and refused to watch the show, saying it degraded the men who served and died. I think he may have been onto something back then; foretelling this tranny infestation we now have in our society.

I used to work at a TV station and he was on our morning show one time. His handlers told us he would walk off the set if anyone asked him about wearing dresses on MASH. This was probably 15 years after MASH had ended.

I only know that one thing. I work in accounting, I didn't even meet him. I just remember the producers of the show warning everyone not to ask him about dresses. I think he was sick of the question. But honestly he wasn't famous enough for anyone to know anything else about him. I'm sure his people sent a bio for them to work off of.

You mean the show that conditioned people to think that men dressing like women was funny and to not even question all the martial affairs going on at the unit as well as back home? A so called Preacher who had questionable values for a supposed man of the cloth?

So much liberal bs in that show I didn't realize until I started re-watching it again with my husband last year.

3
rebuildingMyself 3 points ago +3 / -0

Back then, he tried to get discharged because he was "crazy" by dressing like a woman. Today he'd get promoted.

3
DeplorableDC 3 points ago +3 / -0

👌🏻Oh well played! This is getting shared with frens and family whether they want it or not.

ChinaAreNazis 3 points ago +3 / -0

I sadly remember that smarmy narcissitic douche bag Alan Alda.

2
dr_gonzo 2 points ago +2 / -0

Today Klinger would be put on the fast track to becoming a 4 star General

2
MagaHippie88 2 points ago +2 / -0

Blahaha.... spicy..... <3 MAGA2021

2
Fourtyandfourtyfive 2 points ago +2 / -0

Shit. Klinger would make a damn good Sec of Def.

He would be about stopping wars. Not starting new ones for the steel mongers.

2
TexasFox 2 points ago +2 / -0

Don't disparage Klinger. Yeah he wanted out and faked the mental angle, but of all the people there he he was an unstoppable force to have by your side when shit hit the fan. A soldiers soldier in drag.

QueensOwn 2 points ago +2 / -0

Prophetic show, wasn’t it.

Never really saw it, but my grandma would have it on every now and then

2
Alias117 2 points ago +2 / -0

Who does not remember both Klinger and Radar, and Father Mulcahy in general loved watching that show with my family, might have been born in 79, however Denmark did not really get the newest shows when Tv's first became a every household thing.
