Just restart blockbuster as an in-line streaming service , idk why they didn’t see the writing on the wall years ago and start their own sure it cannibalizes their current business but better than being broke .
They were this close to crushing netflix with their Blockbuster Total Access (Mail you movies, return to store and rent movies). But the war raged between Antioco and Icahn basically killed the company. Business Wars podcast did a great series on this. First episode below.
