Especially Christians, the real evil demons were evil white male pastors in small towns where all those evil Kansas fucks in their creepy farmhomes and dark scary churches want to murder city kids. Other movies seemed to be like superhero or supercop women who were more powerful than men and exploded, beat up and lasered evil white male monster type enemies. Girl power!

That doesn't surprise me at all. Movies have gone downhill quickly since around 2005. How many remakes have been made, where white male characters were replaced by women and minorities? Each and every one of them absolutely sucks. Movies based on books have bizarre SJW changes that do nothing but harm the storyline. I hate new movies and new TV shows.
