As some of us suspected, GEOTUS' legal battles were trainwrecked by a drunk and incompetent Rudy Giuliani -- astounding inside account of the post-election mess of incompetence that punted away the election -- Patrick Byrne, Overstock CEO (Sidney Powell understood the steal, RG did not)

YES. The sweat on Rudy was a tell.
ALL the details Byrne provides (except that DJT didn't know about the 2018 EO) sound right to me. I have decades of career experience in sifting truth from fiction and writing about it.
I guess Rudy was on a continuum of more loyalty to DJT than Cippolone, and normally would have been shown the door by the traitors, but they counted on Rudy to be neutered and ineffective due to his alcoholism.
Yep, for the last 3 months I've been frustrated as hell that the 2nd term somehow slipped away and they could have stopped it. My gut always told me there was things going on behind the scenes that were causing these head scratching situations and lack of action, and Byrne's writings pretty much filled in all the gaps.
Perhaps Rudy and Trump were both counting on SCOTUS in the end, but they denied to hear the Texas case on December 11th, and they seemed to basically give up after that.
Frankly Flynn should have pulled Trump aside and basically demanded that he use the military as a matter of National Security to save/recount the election. After 4 years of those feckless attorneys misleading trump, it was time to listen to the people's General!
Unfortunately it seems Trump did give up somewhere after the 6th. I personally would have just refused to leave office and said "I won the election, and I can prove it, and I'm not leaving."
Of course I agreed at the time, but in retrospect, NO ONE EVER listened to Trump. Because he's a nice guy and kind of a softie. In a good way to us Pedes, but he needed to Pinochet the left.
It started when he said at that Inaugural Ball something nice about HIllary. Then the Hawaiian judge overruled the "Muslim" ban. Then the m-f-ing Mueller investigation. An LBJ or a Nixon or a Hillary would have left Mueller in metaphorical pieces by the road. Schumer and Pelosi would have gotten little Mafioso type warnings to back down.
The generals who defied the Syrian drawdown of troops.
PENCE. Trump said on Jan. 6 he "hoped" Pence would do the right thing. Pence should have already had a Don Corleone talk about respect and consequences, so that there were NO surprises to come along.
Long way of saying -- Trump had no power whatsoever except to do little things around the margins, for much of his presidency. I.e., the military would not have listened to any orders.
With muscular exercise of power, he likely could have consolidated his influence and won allies among those who respect power not principles (i.e., 100 % of Washington D.C.) . he was never going to get anywhere on the merits, ESPECIALLY since he threatened the MIC gravy train and the flow of riches from China / Ukraine / Russia to anyone corruptible.
The only reason Biden is exercising some power is because he's who the real hands on the levers of power want, and he just does what he is told. That was not the deal with DJT of course.
