If you live in commiefornia, sure. But nearly any red state is still affordable and a million bucks goes a heck of a long way with a good quality of life.

Move to the South. You can buy a four bedroom home on an acre of land for about 100k.
Same in the Midwest.
That has not been my experience looking over the past year.
Four bedroom on an acre WITH FAST INTERNET is over 300K and over 400K in/near a city.
Love to see examples of what you are seeing that costs less.
This is why I plan on moving to Wyoming to settle down.
