I pulled what tiny funds I hade there out pf the platform

bluedevilga 1 point ago +1 / -0

Of course it turns out it is mostly owned by the same person bailing out the hedge funds. He's got a really nice house, I think you should have to give it to the people who had their account positions closed in gme without their approval today

It doesn’t matter to them. They’ll gladly lose a few hundred million and junk a successful trading platform if it helps save 10’s of billions tomorrow when these positions close.

They're a private company, bro. They can do whatever they want on their platform.

Why is it one person with a billion dollars has rights but a million people sharing a billion dollars don't?

3
piss_off_youtube 3 points ago +3 / -0

Because we are trying to share 100B not 1B.

I wonder if I can place a buy with my E*TRADE account

19
PeaceThroughStrength 19 points ago +19 / -0

Still can.

I'd chuckle at the small trader Robinhood accounts but TDAmeritrade cucked out yesterday so I imagine E-Trade will cuck out today or tomorrow.

Diotima 9 points ago +9 / -0

I was going to try and get Dogecoin but Coinbase doesnt have it.. im going through identify verification for Binance now.

6
PeaceThroughStrength 6 points ago +6 / -0

Fucking DogeCoin is pure momentum atm because some high profile fag on WSB mentioned it in passing.

Unless you have some algorithmic trade, I'd suggest staying out of it.

2
PvtSalty 2 points ago +2 / -0

I sold my dogecoin yesterday >.<. The accounts pumping aren't even affiliated with WSB.

2
PeaceThroughStrength 2 points ago +2 / -0

Have you looked at the chart?

It's purely because it was mentioned on WSB.

If you already had a stack of Doge, cool but I'm staying away from that.

1
PvtSalty 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah I saw the chart. I agree it's an artificial pump, created by WSB hype. What I'm saying is that I don't think it's WSBs guys pumping it. As far as I can tell, it's new accounts and fake Twitter accounts posing as WSBs to pump one of their own investments or to just make noise. The WSBs guys are saying dont get distracted--GME is the target.

Fuck me then.

Ah well, I'm already in and I promised myself I'd focus on my job today instead of psychic myself out into a paper hands cuck.

I'll close out Friday/Monday for the memes.

First off, they can't kill off these companies using stock, stocks really have little bearing on the actual company, except on monitoring confidence in them. What you buy when you buy a stock is a piece of paper with a companies name on it, that gives you % of either the companies earnings or control of the company if you manage to get enough. The company usually holds a lot of their own stock to control themselves a little bit, but in good years, they get pressured by investors to buy back at a higher price and give them a little money.

Stock Market is just a casino to be real.

14
AmishMachinist 14 points ago +14 / -0

But we can kill off the hedge funds by forcing them to buy shares at $300 instead of the $3 they projected. That's the beauty of GME right now.

6
TearofLys 6 points ago +6 / -0

With commom stock, you only get a piece of the earnings if the stock pays a dividend. GME does not. Common stock in GME only gives you a piece of the company, and you only make money if you sell at a profit.

armedprincess23 8 points ago +8 / -0

Not just GME or AMC. We need to sue. Class action it needs to be started. I only have 4 shares of AMC but I have lost 1-2 that value today. I can’t purchase it and can only sell. This is illegal and it needs to go to court. I am pissed.

There has to be grounds for some sort of criminal case or something. This is the stuff that the billionaires and millionaires do everyday and then the one time they get Beat at their own game they have the elites and our lawmakers helping them out. I don't think people realize how big of a deal this is

BroadSunlitUplands 4 points ago +4 / -0

You need to understand: their courts exist to protect them from you, not you from them.

Here's my email to support:

You guys are about to live the real Robinhood story.

Y'all had a decent little system going here. And some great lines about "democracy" and plenty of bullshit about the little guys, but when the rubber hit the road, you prove to be another corporation, holding the fences for the big guys. I hope WSB and the rest of us "little, unsophisticated people" ride you down as hard as y'all tried to do GME.

Tweet at GameStop CEO to sue

4
NoMoreMao 4 points ago +4 / -0

Some people like me are actually trying to short it through buying long term put calendars. No go.

So they aren't allowing shorting either.

Supreme Court rules you have no standing.

3
American-Patriot 3 points ago +3 / -0

Will any justice be done from this? Absolutely no reason why RB or all these brokers are stopping trading.

Gamestop CEO is going to be the richest man in the world at this rate.

1
A_Normal_Politician 1 point ago +1 / -0

Halting trading in a stock isn't a crime. During times of high volatility they can halt trading in anything. All brokers can legally do this.

1
Redpillmachine 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thinking about small claims court, quicker and wont have to settle for scraps from class action.

Theyreallinonit 1 point ago +1 / -0

Isn't AMC owned by the Chinese communist party under the business name Wanda or some shit? Funky AMC n funky chynah

1
iliv4gamez 1 point ago +1 / -0

Robinhood aren't the only ones doing it either, Stake in Australia stopped allowing trades on their app calling it technical difficulties.
