If Wall Street uses “gangster tactics” the proper thing to do is use the law to stop them / put them in prison. Not to form an online mob that targets random hedge fund investors.

What a strange thought after the last four years and a stolen election.

In this case, hedge funds are legal, but apparently only for certain types of people. Kind of like "mostly peaceful protests".

Hedge funds generally don’t do anything unethical. They bet against bad businesses. If they do unethical things such as trash the business they are short selling, they are legally liable.

It’s unethical to target your countrymen’s investments for the purpose of destroying him. You should arguably be legally liable for doing this. It’s mobbish terrorist-like behavior. Don’t kid yourself. You would not be saying the same thing if Reddit did this to Trump’s investments.

There's nothing unethical about wallstreetbets either.

It’s unethical to target your countrymen’s investments for the purpose of destroying him. You should arguably be legally liable for doing this. It’s mobbish terrorist-like behavior. Don’t kid yourself. You would not be saying the same thing if Reddit did this to Trump’s investments.

That's precisely what Hedge Fund companies do, routinely.

They did do this to Trump, are you insane? They financially destroy people - it's what these people do all the time. You might want to watch the video I linked above - it details some things you seem oblivious to and might give some clarity.

In this case some average Americans decided to insert themselves between a targeted company and STOP the short sellers.

All you are doing by short selling is betting against a company. That is nothing like organizing a mob to target a company
