Cool bit of history. Side note: my ancestor, Chief William McIntosh was chief of the Lower Creeks and was pro-american and fought with Jackson. A bit of controversy between him and Upper Creeks (who didn't want white encroachment) and so they assassinated him on his plantation. Scottish descendent of Scottish clan chiefs, his father married an native american from the wind clan (clan of chiefs) and their son, William became chief. Thanks for sharing!
