The inaccuracy of this cartoon is that the source of the wealth is the American people, or, rather, the people, the working class of the world.
This is more or less what "communism" would entail: publicly traded companies owned by the people via stock shares. Not equally, but enough for anyone to be free to do what they desire, at least after a period of time in the workforce as a producer. Basically, retire after 20-25 years in a career of your choosing earning, saving, and investing, pursue whatever dream or a hobby afterward. (Obviously, it's a bit more complex, but nuance would take multiple kilobytes of ASCII to describe and explain.)
