Billionaires aren't sitting on a Billion dollars of cash. They own a billion dollars of tax revenue building businesses, through ownership or investments. So a wealth tax means they would have to sell off their company to pay the tax for their company laying off all those employees and ending any sales tax revenue.
Don't want student loan debt? Don't sign up for it. Own your choices. No one forced students to go to the most expensive college for the most useless degrees. I would be ok with allowing students to sue the college or at least include student loan debts on their bankruptcy.
