My problem is that I can't disown my parents, because they are in their 80s now, and they need my help. But I have no way of deprogramming them. They have been hooked on NBC for 40 years.
They don't think I'm a terrorist because they don't know what I think. I avoid political discussions with them. I mean they are SO brainwashed. My mother became uncommunicative and inconsolable for a period of time after I merely suggested that maybe Trump isn't quite so bad as the media says. I owe them debts (not just the regular ones, but extra ones because they always had my back growing up with a mental illness) I can never repay. I will continue to be loyal to them, and available to them, for as long as they live. Nothing, at this point, can change that.
I don't talk to certain people much anymore. I'm waiting for the buyers remorse to kick in. If they said shit now I'd purge them forever. My immediate family, ex's family, Gf and her parents are based. Everyone i need too interact with on a frequent basis. I feel bad cause my GFs bro drinks the CNN koolaid and doesn't know any better. Very successful but can't see it. He has the China virus fear too. Suckscause she can't see her nephew. I avoid most people because they'll set me off.

I used to give these people the benefit of the doubt but they don’t deserve it. They know they are being willfully stupid.
They don’t watch CNN to be educated they watch it so they can have a few talking points to defend their precious party that extorts money for them.
