As crappy as RobinHood is with all of this, they're just the sacrifice to protect the bigger guys higher up. Driving a wedge between the millions of new amateur investors and the vehicles that enable them is probably the real goal. Big money doesn't want the masses involved in any way other than than being there to funnel money up.
