Took the family out to eat. There was an old man setting by himself wearing a trump hat minding his business. I noticed it and was excited to see it. Mid aged couple comes in and is seated. They immediately start shitting on the man for having a trump hat and they kept glaring at me for noticing them doing so. Eventually I got fed up with it and said as loud as I could to the old man in the trump hat. “Sir come on over and eat dinner with us.” I turn and look at the couple and say to them there are more of us than there are of you. They got up and left. No one shits on elder pedes! EVER!!!
Tried that with my mother in law today. Got her screaming at me with her middle finger in my face. Right in front of my 4 & 7 year old. All I said was that we need to stand up to the ridiculous mask rules. I also mentioned Biden's remarks about how only a dictator uses executive orders then he blindly signs them.
She's probably thinking about how she can negatively affect me, but I'm only thinking about how sad it is that even though she supposedly got her way in the installation.
Her: "COVID is so dangerous we need three masks and ten feet of social distancing to sToP tHe SpReAd!"
Also her: "I'm going to get right in your face and scream!"
