I'm no expert, but I usually go with an up up, down down, left right left right, B A, select start.

And then I win. Always.

Updoot to oblivion... you're the first person in three decades I've seen CORRECTLY add 'select start'! That's not to say others don't/haven't, just not personally seen. I can now sleep tonight, even with Piss Pants illegally occupying the White House.

Select start was only for two player. Then you needed your 30 lives because your little brother always stole them.
