The new strategy is to not even buy stocks. It's to bet on bottoming out and shit your "shorts" if it goes any higher

They aren't betting.

WSB autists bought the underlying equity and set their ask to 9999.99 thus fucking up the front runners and causing an insane volatility fluctuation because Robinhood sells the buy/sell data to HFT.
