MUST, a South Korean investment firm, sold 5% of GME today, turning a 13 million dollar investment from March into a $1.1 billion dollar payday. IT STILL WAS NOT ENOUGH, even though you can bet it all got sold to brokerages during the shutdown.
GME is on the NYSE. But I do think there was some fear of a wider market collapse. If GME kept going up, the large hedge funds would be taking massive losses because they’d have to pay millions (if not billions) to get out of the GME shorts where the loss is hundreds of dollars per share. To stay liquid, they’d have to sell off other assets
Sitting on CASH, just waiting to pick up some prime Blue Chip Class A's when the panic sellingto cover the shorts starts at around 1pm. If they had not openly vignored and violated the laws toda, tomorrow could have been truly epic for the individual investor.
If they didn't panic sell today after all the fuckery I doubt they will tomorrow. Tomorrow is not the end, it's the start of the squeeze. Not a financial expert, just a pede with skin in the game. Hold the line!
