"I'm a firm believer in jury nullification. Until reform of the top of government occurs, none (other than Demonrats and RINOs) are guilty of ANYTHING.", if I'm questioned for a jury.

Don't say, just exercise.

If you say the word nullification at any point before you're selected (hell, probably before the verdict), you're out.

Really great if you want to get out of jury duty.

I’ve moved around a lot in my life. There’s been a couple of times my forwarded mail said I’ve been selected. Each time I’ve called to let them know I’ve moved out of state, they said no worries. Each time I asked if I need to send proof of my new residency and each time they said no.

Also insist that you want to be there. Quickest way to get out of it or so I heard . . .

The only time I actually served on a jury, there were a bunch of people who were trying to get out of it. The judge was not having it though and the one person he excused due to some life event (I don't remember the specifics) he made commit on the spot to a specific future date for jury service. When it came time to have the attorneys remove people, there were a few more that they kicked out because they didn't like their answers. One potential juror claimed from the beginning that he could not pass judgement on anyone due to something that happened in his past, and he would repeat that every time the judge or an attorney asked him a question, getting more and more emotional and agitated each time. When the attorneys had finished weeding people out, that guy was still in the jury pool, and surprisingly, the judge himself then removed him.

Also, most tricks people might say like “pretend you are stupid, or that you will automatically vote either way “ can get you a contempt of court charge.

Our justice system is fucked, and they ask me, I'll tell them. I've got plenty of examples for them if they want to discuss it.

Which is a bullshit since the court fails to inform all jurists their full rights! The courts therefore are political.

DeadOverRed 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yep. Courts don't want to acknowledge that the power rests with the people.

Yes, because allowing rapists, murderers, and child molesters to go free and rape, murder, and molest more innocent people will surely fix our nation's issues.

Exactly. DUI for sleeping in a parked car? I don't care if he "could have woken up and driven drunk". He didn't. Not guilty.

Yeah, that enters thoughtcrime territory very quickly. Having the means or intent of doing something and not following through with is means you're still innocent of the crime of which you're being accused.
