no, they are many companies/lobbyists...they are responsible for those 5k+ page bills that nobody reads, that are the kitchen sink of bills and policy. disaster. i don't think congress has written its own legislation since the 70's/80's. we need to go back to that; actual authorship of a bill, under 10 pages, addressing ONE issue. no piggybacking, no pork. hth do you vote on 5k+ paged document that will affect millions of lives, and have only 6 hours to read said document? did a single congress critter protest on the floor of their chambers?
Yup. Most definitely know about the "think tanks" at K street. That's what I was alluding to, Jackson-Lee is about as sharp as a bowling ball and just as subtle. An outside group was obviously in on writing this piece of authoritarian garbage.
