We've trusted all of our faith in computer systems being honest and fair when it comes to elections, trading, document storage, etc. Reality is computers do what they are told by humans and it has created a huge rift in transparency under the guise of technical complexity. If Spez can edit our posts on reddit, Dominian alter votes, and Robinhood hault trading - all things done in front of our own yes - there is no pause to what it can't manipulate, censor, or remove. We need to go back to the basics if we are to save our world from tyranny.

Computers are obsoleting traditional methods of corruption the same way nuclear weapons made conventional weapons obsolete. Your missed the point entirely.
Guns obsoleted traditional forms of killing. Then NBC obsoleted guns for mass killing. I think you missed my point entirely.
The tech doesn't matter; some will always use it in a corrupt manner.
