10/22s are great guns and you'll be able to have so many memorable times with your boy and that rifle.

Buying a matching rifle to use with him would make it even more special for your son.
Honestly tearing up a little just thinking about it.
It makes me tear up as well. Especially when we lose them together in our first boating accident.
Get the Thompson Center TC 10/22 it's a great upgrade to the standard Ruger.
I've heard good things. I think upgrading from the standard Is a smart idea. Especially because I want it to be a lifetime rifle.
