This is literally what he sent me:
You're offspring will reap the demise off your ignorance, be it slavery or another form of retribution. You're unwillingness to acknowledge injustice will bring the wrath of vengeful and irrational beings, seeking reparations in blood. I sought to enlighten you to a reality you were not privy to through the stories of people who lived those hardships. Those "criminals", as you call them, will come to eternally rob you and your next of kin of light... I wish the best for you.
Really fucked up stuff, this was a good friend of mine. What happened to people?
Also they don't wish the best for you. That's just their way of convincing themselves that they're morally superior.
They can tell you terrorists will literally come for you if you don't do what they want and come for your children too. They can terrorize you mentally with images of people robbing you and threaten you with wrath of reparations in blood.
Then simply wash it all away with "I wish the best for you".
He left that conversation KNOWING he was the good guy and that you were the ignorant horrible person.
This is the scariest part of ignorance. It's fucked up how the most confident people of their position are the most ignorant.
Very scary. Not of him, but of how convinced they are of their lies.
The thing they are really reacting against, and the thing that is really making them so angry, is that they can see you are resisting the control. But they don't understand that is what is making them so angry - they haven't thought it through to the point of realising that the thing they are really advocating for is one group deciding what another should think and do, and don't see the inevitable end point of it - it's the underlying pathology of socialist thinking, and it is as addictive and convincing as hell when you're in the middle of it. It's the most insidious of vices because it disguises itself as virtue. It is not seeking truth or equality or any of the things it professes to seek, it is seeking power.
