Kekmanchoo, I am really sorry to hear this - I imagine that it is really distressing, and also lonely. The really hard thing is that most people who are caught up in it are longing for the same thing we all are, which is opportunity and flourishing for those we care about... The problem is that there has been such a profound conditioning of thought that they no longer see a way forward that doesn't involve demonising particular groups of people and seeking to control the thoughts and speech of others. Honestly I think the way through it is to keep praying for them - for discernment and blessings and all good things. The whole point of the Marxist movement is to make those who will not fall into line hateful and immoral and to make us hate each other. I believe we need to stand our ground firmly but lovingly against the tyranny. If you contine to hold love in your heart for your former friends - even if you can't associate with them right now - the poison will not eat you from the inside out.
If you do still engage with them in some way, something that you might try is, with a spirit of curiosity, to start getting them to lay out the details of just what it is that they are actually advocating for. What criteria do they want to be used when hiring people? Who do they want to take money from to give to others? How much should be taken? Is anyone exempt? Have you read any of Thomas Sowell's books?
