It might suck right now but I promise you a month from now you'll just feel free. You have to ask yourself, and this will be a difficult pill to swallow at first, how much actual value they saw in you if every time they spoke to you they were trying to devalue you as a person simply because of your skin color. Something I'm sure they'd be raging about if it was reversed. I've dealt with actual Black supremacy in my past as well and once they've gotten to a certain point, namely the white man, Caucus mountains blah, blah, blah point...you can't reason with them. You need to treat this like any other relationship. Mourn it, but then count yourself lucky that you got away from that hate. Oh and watch your back for awhile.
