I don't have much money to spare for this type of investment so I am super nervous about my first purchase. If any of you know of a silver bar source that is totally legit please let me know so that I can buy a few bars with confidence. Thank you frens!

A lot of metals look the same as silver at a glance. If you have a known weight of silver, and a suspect weight of "silver," the best way to known if the suspect one is legit is to use this. In essence, a known weight of silver will always displace the same amount of fluid, which gives you a means of knowing whether your metal is fake or not without even cutting it.
