Actually this cartoon is about the redundant response that all Catholic hypocrites....excuse me I meant politicians make about their policy positions in order to be successful. I find this to be especially true when the issue is abortion. This has been going on for decades and Catholics aren't buying it anymore; and demanding that the clergy who deal directly with these people don't put up with it either. This is me calling the Church on the carpet. This is Catholics demanding that the faith we possess be practiced. You should applaud that.
What I don't get is why you or other Catholic followers associate yourselves as Catholic when it seems the elites in the denomination have always defined what Catholicism is, not you.
I would suggest you just associate yourself with Christianity and avoid a denomination that has been corrupt and managed by fraud Christians as far back as I can research and tell and certainly all of my life.
Why battle corrupt frauds posing as Christians to cleanse your idea of "Catholicism" when you can just identify as Christian and cleanse yourself of the association?
I used to go to a Presbyterian Church. I realized PCUSA were sellout frauds more worried about promoting demoKKKrat doctrine than Christian doctrine. I could have chosen to wage an internal battle for control over what Presbyterianism truly means and should stand for, but it's easy to just walk away and say I am Christian, not Presbyterian.
Alternative, just like what we want to do with America: reject the false leaders. If your church is assigned a leftist priest, simply deny him and demand a new one.
