I am into the digital stuff too. Always was but never had any money. Now I have a little and the options out there are so fantastic, affordable etc in both hardware and software. It's a little hard to balance for me though. Do I practice guitar today, maybe piano, or do I go down a rabbit hole of sound design today? Not a bad problem to have exactly but often conflicts of time. As an example, I am the proud owner of SugarBytes Drum, Pigments, Vital, Phaseplant to name a few. I bought them all this year and hardly touched them lol. Two year ago I bought a Minibrute 2S and had to make space for it so I rearranged my rig which included patching in my strat. I messed around a little on guitar and next thing I know I was waaaaay into it and never touched the 2S for 2 freakin' years outside of power it up and making sure it worked out of the box. First world problems I know lol.
The options available today regarding drawing tablets and drawing monitors is a gigantic leap from just 5 years ago when the only player was Wacom. 4 years ago I upgraded and bought a Huion GT 185 drawing monitor for $600 CND and it’s Wacom competitor was $2500,USD. The iPad professional is all the rage today. I also use free software such as FireAlpaca, Gimp, and others.
I’m ready to upgrade but my finances atm are shitty as I was almost killed in a workplace injury that hospitalized me and been rehabbing for over a year now.
Drained my savings account and left me with a shitty debt load.
Name check -Guitar player Forsure!
I’m a digital artist and a former wanna be drummer. I love women and Trump !
